Description

Unusual Early Islamic Glass, 7th /8th Century AD.
Small globular vessel with a short wide neck, a thickened rim and a concave base. The two handles between the shoulder and rim are formed of two strips of glass with the upper end protruding.

A white glass thread is applied horizontally in a row of irregular zigzags.
