Iron Age II (1000/586) Bc
Decorated with dark brown lines
In very good condition with black patina
Although Certainly of Mycenaean origin, the Pyxis after being imitated locally like other imported vessels, was adopted, first by the Canaanite and later through the Iron Age pottery to a much greater extent than other forms.
